Re: Ryan Jerome's letter (Optimist, June 3)

I am a Catholic. For a person who preaches love and tolerance, you sure seem unloving, intolerant and rash towards those who may disagree with you.

Furthermore, you seem rash in attributing to them evils which, in accordance with your opinion, may not even be true at all with regard their reasons, motives, circumstances, conscience, malice, ect; nor may they be even hateful nor intolerant at all.

These three families are not on here to defend themselves against your accusations, so, it is better to give them the benefit of the doubt and seek their understanding of things first before jumping to conclusions.

If you want to know what is being preached - at least for us Catholics - I invite you to experience true love, tolerance and acceptance by visiting Jesus present in the Most Blessed Sacrament under the appearances of bread and wine, within the tabernacle. Or better yet, tune in to Sunday Mass at our local parish in Delta located at Sacred Heart Parish, or better yet, visit in person.

I invite you to visit and experience true love, which is only found in our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ. For we move because He loved us first. True love builds up, it doesn't seek to break down. All are welcome with our Blessed Lord, those with same-sex attractions and those without.
