I am in total agreement with the letter from Paul Kuckein (Optimist, letters, April 22) questioning the bicycle ban on the trails at Deas Island Regional Park.

This was implemented years ago without any consultation from the public on the basis of a few complaints. There are so many parks in the Lower Mainland that are shared by both pedestrians and cyclists, it's beyond my understanding why Deas Island Regional Park can't do the same.
