With deep admiration and sorrow I have read ML Burke's column. Admiration because at her end of life journey she is still advocating for all of us. Sorrow, because having met ML at meetings of the Delta Seniors Action Network as well as meeting her on the streets with her sweet dog, I will miss her enthusiasm, generosity, sense of humour and, of course, her column in the Optimist.

May ML's final journey be filled with peace and much love.

Thank you for everything you have done in this life.
