The decision to not prosecute the Delta police chief’s wife for this incident has my full support.

We can’t be over sensitive in causes like this one in order to discourage further accusations, investigations, court room time and suffering of those falsely accused.

And over what? A little accident like this? Like neighbours exchanging the words over the fence? Please give me a break!

I’m almost sure the matter wouldn’t get any of this caliber attention if one of the sides involved wouldn’t be wife of the public figure.

Alleged offender should say “I’m sorry to accidentally spray you with water “if she did.

Alleged victim should be ashamed of herself for claiming a big abuse and demanding prosecution.

She shouldn’t go on those rocks in the first place. Tides are not coming with the tsunami speed here and is plenty of time to go around the house. Going on those rocks is dangerous and may end with rescue services being called.

And I know this for a fact. The other day my wife and I were walking this part of the beach. On the rocks about half way up there was a distressed cat. Nice animal was meowing with discomfort and my wife asked me to go and get him. On the first attempt I have ruled against it as too dangerous. Rocks are not sitting there with some regularity, nor having many flat horizontal surfaces to step on. Walking on them in a hurry to avoid incoming tide is rather impossible and also not necessary, especially climbing higher up. It is much safer and worthy wetting your feet instead. Having some fun on the occasion and lighthearted smile from childhood.
