Most Canadians have been amazed and delighted to see how the country-wide lockdowns and isolation process have resulted in a refreshed and renewed environment.
Just the reduction in pollution from fossil fuels has so cleaned our air that we and all creation can see and smell and feel and hear and even taste the difference. As soon as you greatly reduce the pollution, we can all benefit.
As we contemplate the “new normal” for B.C. and for Canada, we should do everything possible to limit pollution. Let’s invest in clean sources of energy. Let’s put major investments into electric-powered transportation.
Imagine new electric vehicles offered in a direct swap for gas-fuelled vehicles. I would happily swap my new car for an electric one or trade it in for an affordable “clean” vehicle.
Together we can do this.
