The shocking reported comment of “Go kill yourself” by a local teacher to discipline a student is beyond all acceptable limits.
This behaviour must be strongly condemned as an act of hate and harm which threatens the safety of the community.
The penalty of teacher suspension is greatly inadequate considering the seriousness of the verbal attack.
The parents, families and residents of Delta need to be assured of the safety of students in classrooms.
This teacher’s extreme verbal attack needs a very serious penalty to protect students and defend social contract of our society.
