Deltans want answers about the casino

Editor: There were several questions posed to council regarding the proposed casino on March 11 in which the public failed to get answers too. The failure to obtain any social licensing contracts with loss of a multitude of dollars.

There were several questions posed to council regarding the proposed casino on March 11 in which the public failed to get answers too.

The failure to obtain any social licensing contracts with loss of a multitude of dollars. Council members recently met with federal officials who claim they had never heard of a cashless casino. Just not credible.

We already have 20 pickleball courts in Delta. This activity does not even rate in the top 30 activities for Deltans.

Not mentioned was any reference to increased public transit.

The Delta Town and Country Hotel has previously contracted with Delta and supplies food and lodging in emergency situations to affected Delta citizens, through Delta's Emergency Social Services.

Council also failed to pass a motion to request an inquiry into money laundering to the provincial government.

The chief of police failed to appear for the third time.

Many Deltans want answers.
