I was quite disappointed when I read Mike Schneider’s recent Community Comment of Oct. 8.
He spends most of his time endorsing a particular political party and condemning another.
I don’t expect to see such blatant political bias on the Community Comment page.
I expect our local paper to hold a more neutral stance when it comes to political matters and to present all sides fairly and in a similar manner.
I am surprised this “political ad” passed the editor’s desk without some toned down revision.
I enjoy reading the Community Comment and hearing about “Project Pickle” and other activities in our community from the various writers but turning the column into a biased political ad struck me as inappropriate.
