Re: Casino opponents silent on possible TFN option, letter to the editor, Feb. 28

To say we should build something we don't want because we fear someone else might build it would be like saying, "We should kill ourselves quickly now, because we fear our inevitable death might be slow and painful."

If we allow fear to control our actions, we will never make the best decisions. We should not be doing things because we are afraid.

Let's not get into creating FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) and instead have some rational discussions about what makes the casino proposal a good thing for Delta or a bad thing and work with that. We can deal with the subject of building a casino on TFN land if it presents itself.
