DSS grads on their best behaviour at golf course

Last Friday morning at 8 a.m. I was working at The Links at Hampton Cove and we had approximately 30 young men from the 2019 Delta Secondary grad class show up at the golf course in their very tacky Hawaiian shirts to play a quick nine holes of golf before the long day ahead.

I was expecting the normal lack of organization and some questionable behaviour happenings but what took place was an organized, polite and well-mannered group of young men playing with good friends and having a great time.

I would like to congratulate the grads, their parents and all the teachers at Delta Secondary for a job well done.

To see such positive behaviour from a young group as this certainly gives me an extremely positive outlook for the future of this generation, our community and our country.
