Embrace our past with return of Tsawwassen neighbourhood signs

Editor: I've seen quite a few stories recently on social media with history and pictures of Tsawwassen. The pictures usually generate many positive comments and fond nostalgic memories, especially from those of us who were raised here.

That said, would City of Delta consider replacing some town signage which has disappeared over the past few decades? Specifically I'm thinking about the two neighbourhood signs (metal letters mounted on the rock walls) built on the corners of 6th Avenue and Milsom Wynd as well as 6th Avenue and 52nd Street.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the neighbourhood names but feel it's important to retain and embrace our history as well our future. It also creates a feeling of community for those living in the area.

Can anyone remember what the names on each wall were? I remember riding my bike past them many times as a kid but the names have faded in my mind. I would guess they were vandalized and removed maybe 20 to 35 years ago.
