May I share a good news story about our local Delta Hospital. Recently my husband who has a diagnosis of cancer had to be admitted to Delta Hospital because he had developed extensive and threatening blood clots. From the time of initial contact at ER check-in to the 12-day stay on the second floor every staff member treated us with the utmost respect and dignity. Every single nurse, doctor, technician, administrator and support staff were caring, loving and advocating aggressively for the health of my husband.
The staff at Delta Hospital are amazing human beings and our family is endlessly grateful for the care we received. I spent hours all day at the hospital witnessing staff work. Their work is incredibly difficult and demands great skill and patience. Consistently without fail I watched Delta Hospital staff perform their duties with skill, love, a smile on their face and genuine care for the patient they held. Thank you so much Delta Hospital staff.
