Lions look on the Sunnyside despite annual plant fundraiser cancelled


For more than 25 years, every spring the Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions join with Sunnyside Nurseries for the annual plant fundraiser.

The Lions provide meals by donation and Lions members assist patrons with their purchases. At the end of the weekend, Len, Rene and their families provide the Lions with a generous donation in support of the communities in South Delta.

Despite the fact we could not do this, due to COVID-19, the owners of Sunnyside Nurseries still provided the Lions with a donation.

What a great example of a local business supporting the community. Let's do our part, in supporting them, during these difficult times and beyond.
