More has to be done to stop polluters

I am writing this letter as a person who has spent almost 75 years on this planet.

In my life, I have seen a lot of changes.

We have to do a lot more to stop the polluters in our own country than just giving them fines. We need to make them stop polluting by refusing to use their products. We personally should think about the choices that we make about food, transportation, goods, heating and cooling our homes and many other things, probably on a daily basis. It will not be easy.

Our children and grandchildren need to have a safe and pristine world to live in with multiple species still here and thriving. Our oceans need to be free of plastic and from noise pollution that deters whales and other creatures from living a normal life. Contiguous spaces need to be preserved so that species can survive. More parks/reserves should be set aside for this purpose. Motorized vehicles should be completely banned in certain areas where wildlife dwell. We should stop damming all of our rivers. Monocultures should be something that existed in the past.
