At 7 p.m. nightly if people remember, take a pot or bells and make noise. People travelling in vehicles can honk their horns. I wish the churches with bells that can ring would get on board during these times.
This respectful gesture goes a long way to let everyone know that we are all together here and we respect all people. We are the front line and the medical people, support people, police, fire and ambulance all deserve our respect as these people are the ones who have to respond to our health and welfare.
And when you do this, at least you can wave at your neighbour. We are all in this together. Show your support, people. It takes less than a minute of your time.
Be safe and do due diligence in your daily life. It will save lives.
