Re: Qualtrough says lost trust forced caucus expulsions, April 11

I would suggest that Delta MP Carla Qualtrough give consideration to stopping her consumption of Justin Trudeau’s Kool-Aid and get on with protecting the interests of her constituents. Did the PMO write her comments in the Optimist or did it just provide her (and every other Liberal caucus member) with the party line talking points?

Trudeau’s handling of the SNC-Lavalin affair smacks of political backroom deals, cover-ups and, most assuredly, political interference with the independence of the Crown. Being tied to this wagon puts Qualtrough in the same mud hole.

Qualtrough was elected, not to hold the PM’s hand, but to provide her riding’s voice in Ottawa.

She should try asking her constituents what they say about this fiasco, the PM’s handling of it and her recent position on it.

Why would anyone vote again for a MP who can’t exhibit some understanding of who they represent?
