E. Enns feel that public benches should sport crosses that symbolize "the saving grace of Jesus" instead of rainbows in support of LGBTQ. The letter then goes on to state that Enns does not support LGBTQ but does not condemn them.

Yet Enns wants benches to display the symbol of an institution that has an open history of centuries of persecution of LGBTQ. Imprisonment, torture, execution, conversion therapy and excommunication certainly don't seem like a saving grace to me. They, in fact, seem like a condemnation.

The fact that Delta chose rainbows over crosses tells me the sort of antiquated, homophobic and discriminatory thinking of people like Enns has no place in an open and inclusive community like Delta.
