Room for more to worship at St. Andrew’s in Tsawwassen

At the outset, let me announce that I am a Christian, that I believe in God – not a god but God – and that I rejoice in His Creation.

As I look out my window, I see flowers in bloom, trees in blossom and rays of sunshine basting the soil with nourishment. I believe in my faith and I exult in my good fortune to be able to attend church each Sunday and join with others to celebrate life, to worship God and to understand Jesus’ teaching.

If I have one point of sadness, and I do, it is that too few others see merit in attending church on Sundays and learning they are, as are we, all children of God – He is our Heavenly Father, the One who created us. Inasmuch as we often say we love and respect our human father, as we ought to, it is also respectful that we love and respect our Heavenly Father.

While our congregation at St. Andrew’s Anglican [ANiC] Church in Tsawwassen is small, there is room for others to join us on Sundays and we certainly will make everyone who does most welcome. Our minister speaks the language of the younger set and is a blessed delight as she is a spark of light to those among us who are past the government-mandated date of retirement.

So, if you are wanting for a place to worship or simply to meet others, enjoy a sermon, sip a cup of coffee or tea and munch on a sweet, then why not join us at St. Andrew’s. We hold our services in the Tsawwassen Alliance Church building on 12th Avenue in Tsawwassen; and the best part is that attendees do not have to rise early on Sundays – our service commences at 1 p.m., leaving you lots of time to laze on Sunday mornings before going to St. Andrew’s.

We offer the best of the best – good worship, nice company, friendly members, a cup of coffee or tea and a sweet, and a start time that is generous and does away with the usual Sunday morning rush.

We look forward to greeting you next Sunday. Why not? It might just be what you have been looking for.
