I am a dog lover. I dog-sit my family's dogs and I pet dogs being walked by their owners.
That said, I am at a loss to understand why dog owners allow their dogs to visit Boundary Bay Cemetery. Posted signs forbid dogs in this area.
Last Saturday was the 18th anniversary of our son's death. When my wife visited the gravesite, there was a pile of dog poo close to our son's grave marker.
Have dog owners lost all sense of respect for loved ones who are buried there? Is there no shame in dog owners? What this is is a total lack of respect for those loved ones who have passed on, whether young or old. Shame on you.
