Poll question: Optimist readers want an end to Daylight Savings

Delta Optimist polled 430 Optimist readers and asked the question: Is it time to end Daylight Savings Time?

The poll ran from March 15 to 22. Of the 430 votes, we can determine that 179 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

YES 74.86% local, 76.05% total    
NO 25.14% local, 23.95% total

Editor's note: Results are based on an online study of adult Delta Optimist readers that are located in Ladner and Tsawwassen. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 4.68%, 19 times out of 20.
