Substitute politician for sailor to update 'drunken' spending reference

I take exception to Delta Mayor Lois Jackson's use of the term "drunken sailor."

From my vantage point, I suggest she rewrite her comment to update the term; I suggest "drunken politician" as a suitable replacement. Perhaps an audit of politicians might be in order, also.
