Sunny Sam will be hiding treasure where the sun don't shine during the annual Tsawwassen Sun Festival 2014.
This year will mark the 42 birthday of Tsawwassen's Mascot, Sunny Sam and to celebrate he will be having his first Hidden Treasure Hunt during the festival from Aug. 2-4.
Random clues will be put out over the three day event via his Facebook page at Tsawwassen's Sunny Sam or on Twitter @FollowSunnySam.
The clues and rules are all posted on the social media sites. Each set of clues will be for one prize and the winner will find an envelope in the 'hidden spot and redeem their prize through a festival official.

Sunny Sam's creator, Margaret Davies, will be joining in on the festivities this year. Davies created Sam in 1972 and will be riding in the parade alongside Sam's team.
Shannon Kewley the daughter of Margaret Davies has helped to keep the Tsawwassen mascot in the public eye. Along with her friend Jess Graham they came up with the idea for the Hidden Treasure Hunt.
"Lets bring him fully to life and create a social media presence." Kewley said.
The Tsawwassen Sun Festival is the largest community festival in South Delta. It attracts upwards of 12,000 people over the three-day event.
