In my last column I suggested the current municipal council be replaced in the November 2014 election. The column elicited a positive response from the handful of known regular readers, and even from random members of the public.

Editor: I'm confused. Didn't Delta council already ask Tsawwassen residents if they wanted the Century Group's Southlands development? Didn't the majority say no? Is council's plan to keep on asking until we all get fed up with it and say yes?

Just when it seemed like it was never going to end, we've gone to black, which in this case is a good thing.

I'd like to renew my suggestion of around three years ago to make the crosswalk at Central Avenue and Ladner Trunk Road a flashing green going to red pedestrian controlled crosswalk.

Editor: I have to write today to commend Campbell Care Plumbing, Heating & Air for the great service they provided me recently. I live in Tsawwassen and have a renovated rental suite that is occupied.

Hospice Cottage Charity Shoppe in Tsawwassen is very fortunate to have such high quality donations, but has had to take measures to secure the back of the property because of excessive dumping of unsalable items.

In Pete McMartin's column in last Saturday's Vancouver Sun, the mayor of Vancouver, Gregor Robertson, was quoted as saying, "People are arriving here whether we like it or not, so those of us who live here... are under increasing pressure.
