Park where you feel like it in Richmond...apparently

Another driving faux pas, Richmond-style, is gathering steam on social media – after an errant motorist parked on the sidewalk, right next to a “no vehicles on sidewalk” sign.

An explicit photo of the misdemeanour was uploaded to Facebook group “‎Richmond Learns to Park” on Sunday by Paul Phelan‎.

It shows a white Mercedes parked on a wide section of a brand new sidewalk out front of a new condo development in the Richmond Olympic Oval district.

Phelan’s caption reads “Richmond: the only place where you need a sign that says no vehicles on the sidewalk, yet it’s still disobeyed.”
