Deltassist hosted its sixth annual Coldest Night of the Year on Saturday night, Feb. 25. The event started at City Hall in Ladner. According to Deltassist there was 150 walkers, 21 teams with support from 26 volunteers. City officials were on hand to lend their support as was Delta South MLA Ian Paton and his staff. The BC Lions were also there for a meet and greet. As of Monday morning, Deltassist reports that $29,502 has been raised.
