A pod of orcas was spotted in Vancouver’s inner harbour Tuesday afternoon.

The whale of a good time was reported on by the Vancouver Police Department’s Marine Unit, which posted a number of photos on social media showing a group of whales near the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing.

Video posted to Twitter also shows at least two orcas gliding through the waters underneath the Lions Gate Bridge.

The North Shore is no stranger to orca sightings. In 2017, drone footage captured a pod of orcas swimming past a home in Horseshoe Bay.
