Dean Bauck last month submitted a revised application for a townhouse development fronting Beach Grove.

Delta council on Monday will discuss a new residential development application at the Beach Grove Golf Course.

The 22-unit townhouse development at 5847 12 Ave. and 5766 16 Ave. would require a public notification and consultation process before council considers preliminary approval.

The city received a subdivision application in June 2017 to build 10 new single-detached lots, each containing a house, along the 16 Avenue property frontage. The remainder of the property would continue to be a part of the Beach Grove Golf Course.

A consultation process for that earlier application was endorsed by council in January 2018, however, following initial public notification, the application was on hold for some time while the applicant considered revisions.

A revised application was then submitted in December 2019 for the 22 townhouses instead.

The new application involves a Regional Growth Strategy amendment, Official Community Plan amendment, rezoning and development variance permit.
