The Ladner Red Sox 11U AA All-Star team just completed a great summer ball season.

The team came in second at the Cook Tournament in Newton on the Canada Day long weekend.

The following weekend, they took the gold medal at the Jay Piggot tournament in North Vancouver after playing many games in the rain. During this same time, their regular season started and they finished second out of 12 in the overall standings with a 9-2 record. This secured them a spot in the provincials held on August long weekend in Parksville where they finished in fourth place out of the 10 teams competing.

The team rallied for a 3-1 record in round robin play, but were unsuccessful in the semi-final game and again in the bronze medal game.

The boys had a great summer playing the sport they love, hanging out with old friends and building new friendships for years to come. All in all a great success!
