South Delta Bantam A2 Storm made the most of the recent Thanksgiving Weekend across the river, winning its division at the 10th annual Seafair Minor Hockey Rep Ice Breaker Tournament.The Storm cruised into the playoff round with an undefeated record then took out a feisty host Seafair team in an exciting semi-final battle. South Delta then completed the run with a hard-fought 6-2 victory over Port Alberni in the championship game. Coaches Owen Pighin, Rob Bogress, Ryan Schram and Jeff Reid are proud of the boys, stating how "hard work, discipline and team work" were the key ingredients to the gold medal run. The Storm's roster features: Sebastian Hartman, Tyler McLennan, Vaughan Bamford, Jeevan Bath, Jordan Bogress, Taylor Bourdon, Hayden Dance, Wyatt Elmer, Noah Kelly, Tyler Lauinger, Mike Matson, Jack McMillan, Thomas Morison, Zefan Pighin, Trevor Poisson, Greg Porter and Matthew Salas.
