Tsawwassen blueliner Aiden Hansen-Bukata and goaltender Jordan Naylor are Delta Ice Hawks alumni with the Nanaimo Clippers. The BCHL club is holding a player ID camp later this month at Tilbury Ice.

The Nanaimo Clippers will be holding a player identification camp March 20 to 22 at Tilbury Ice in Ladner.

The B.C. Hockey League club, which is off to the second round of the playoffs, has a solid working relationship with the hometown Delta Ice Hawks. That is evident with the camp being held here and Ice Hawks GM and head coach Steve Robinson joining the Clippers staff for the three sessions.

Nanaimo GM and head coach Darren Naylor guided the Ice Hawks for two seasons prior to heading to the BCHL. Goaltender Jordan Naylor and defensemen Aiden Hansen-Bukata and Liam Visram are Hawks alumni on the current Clippers roster.

Jordan led the BCHL in shutouts this season while Hansen-Bukuta is taking his career to the NCAA Division One level next fall at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) on a scholarship. The Tsawwassen native is also a Delta Hockey Academy alumni.

The Clippers won the BCHL Island Division then swept Alberni Valley in the opening round. They will take on Cowichan Valley starting this weekend in Nanaimo.
