Delta contingent at World Gymnaestrada in Austria

Event concludes on Saturday with 67 countries being represented

A team from Delta Gymnastics is soaking in the cultural experience at the World Gymnaestrada in Austria.

Held every four years, it is similar to the Olympics. Delta Gymnastics is part of the Team Canada contingent of 800 participants. A total of 67  countries are being represented by 26,000 at the non-competitive FIG Gymnastics-for-All event begin held in Dornbirn.

Participation is for everyone regardless of gender, age, cultural background and ability. 

Gymnaestrada is a unique form of gymnastics that weaves music to a choreographed performance that combines dance, acrobatics, and gymnastics, with participants of various ages and skill levels.

Delta’s team has one more scheduled performance before the event concludes on Saturday.
