Delta Gymnastics is well-represented at this weekend’s University of Calgary International Competition.
A team of 10 athletes and five coaches made their way to the event which is drawing over 1,000 elite athletes from across Canada, the US and abroad.
“This is a great team travel competition,” says Chris Sheremeta, Delta Gymnastics Men’s Competitive Program Director. “UCIC will give them great exposure to elite athletes and the experience of attending one of Canada’s largest gymnastic competitions.”
Delta athletes include Hunter and Ryan Woodward, Lucas Liu, Russell Woodward, Brian and Daniel Delf, Kyan Ashley, Maxime Smith, Nik Alexander, Alex Shilvock, Arlo Happeney and James McGill.
Joining Sheremeta are Delta coaches Thorstein Fischer, Pete Mitchell, Shujun Goa and James Luo.
