The Delta Ice Hawks picked up their seventh win of the season following an impressive 5-0 win over the Grandview Steelers Tuesday night.

A pair of short-handed goals from Andrew Kemp in the first and Jordan Deyrmenjian early in the second was all Delta would need for the win at the Ladner Leisure Centre.

Mark Epshtein, Brady Fortin and Jonathan Rees Jr. rounded out the scoring.

Deyrmenjian added a pair of helpers for a three-point night while Daniel Rubin added a pair of assists.

Goalie Jordy Engleson stopped 26 shots to earn the shut-out.

Delta now sits just a point behind rival Richmond for top spot in the Tom Shaw Conference.

The Ice Hawks head to Surrey Thursday night for a contest against the Knights.

Delta is back at the LLC on Tuesday when they host Mission. Face-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
