Ladner stunt man Brennan Walstrom placed second at the prestigious Formula Pro Am Drifting event at the Evergreen Speedway in Munroe, WA.
The event featured entries from California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and B.C. Competitors had to qualify to be in the top 32. Knockout rounds followed, all the way to the championship, similar to tennis.
Brennan and his brother Kye, who also works as a stunt man, had recently purchased their 600hp Nissan SX 240 which makes the runner-up finish even more impressive.
Brennan's hoping the judging panel will now grant him his PRO 2 license so he can compete at the top level next year.
Kye is taking the car to California in the coming weeks to try and get his PRO 2 license in similar fashion to his brother.
