On Masters Sunday (April 14), 10-year-old Alex Zhang from Richmond was awarded the best peewee golf swing in the world in the boys’ 9 to 10 division in the ninth annual Little Linksters contest.

On Masters Sunday (April 14), 10-year-old Alex Zhang from Richmond was awarded the best peewee golf swing in the world in the boys 9 to 10 division voted by Jack Nicklaus, Francesco Molinari, PGA president Suzy Whaley, Lauren Thompson from the Golf Chanel and many others.

Zhang was among the winners of the ninth annual Little Linksters contest, where young golfers from across the world send in short video clips of their golf swings to be judged by a panel of esteemed golfers, broadcasters and industry professionals.

Zhang attends Southpointe Academy in Tsawwassen and is a member at Beach Grove Golf Club and Quilchena Golf and Country Club.

He is coached by Colin Bykowski at the Pacific Golf Academy.

He has been playing golf for 2.5 years and will be heading to his third US Kids World Championships in Pinehurst, North Carolina this summer.
