Podium finishes for host Delta Skating at West Coast Challenge

Competition brought 26 teams to the Ladner Leisure Centre

The host Delta Skating Club came away with a pair of podium finishes at the B.C./Yukon Skating Association’s West Coast Challenge at the Ladner Leisure Centre on Saturday.

The B.C./Yukon Skating Association sanctified event featured competition in team synchronized and adult skating — attracting 26 teams from both sides of the border.

Delta’s Team Solar Flare captured gold in the Pre-Juvenile Division while Team Solar Ice won bronze in the Juvenile.

The event was well-attended and well-organized thanks to Delta Skating Club volunteers.
