U14 Stealth make it back-to-back cup wins

Division Two girls team crowned South Fraser District champions

The South Delta Stealth made it back-to-back cup titles in as many weeks.

The Division Two girls soccer team capped its season in impressive style with a 2-0 win over the SurDel Strikers in the South Fraser District Cup championship game, played on March 10 at Dugald Morrison Park. A week earlier, the Stealth captured their group in the BC Coastal Soccer League Cup playdowns.

The girls certainly got better as the season progressed, evident by the District Cup win against an opponent that finished with a better record in the league standings.

Coached by Baloo Dosanjh and Madi Wells, the Stealth roster features: Raeya Dosanjh, Julia Fechter, Rachel Rosser, Caitlyn Nakagawa, Ella Arnold, Isabella Granger, Priya Kaila, Anita van Wieringen, Annise Gill, Paisley Reid, Morgan Hope, Madison Weist, Grace Grannary Ally Nelson, Amy Haverstock and Claire van Breeman. The team manager is Tania Hope.
