The host DHA Wild Green’s only blemish of the weekend — a 3-0 setback to St. Georges — was enough to keep them out of the championship game. Instead, the Greens played for bronze and avenged the earlier loss with a 3-2 victory on Sunday afternoon.

DHA slipped past West Van 4-3 on Friday but the Warriors rebounded with three straight wins to get back in the title game and defeated Yale for the second time in the tournament.

DHA Green and West Van are currently tied for top spot in the Canadian School Sport Hockey League regular season standings.

DHA Green and St. Georges will meet again on Sunday in league play at Planet Ice. Game time is 11:15 a.m.

DHA White closed out the tourney with a 6-1 win over the DHA Bantam Varsity squad.
