Colourful parade to wind its way through Ladner Village Sunday

The streets of Ladner Village will be lined with people as the May Days parade rolls through town.

The parade is one of the big highlights of Ladner Pioneer May Days.

“Who doesn’t love a parade, really? The community comes together for a parade,” says Ladner May Days chairperson Jennifer Scott.

The parade starts at noon on Sunday.

The procession, which includes a range of community groups, winds its way through Ladner Village and ends up at the fairgrounds at Memorial Park.

The parade starts on Delta Street just past Trenant Street, works its way onto 48th Avenue before heading south of Elliott Street and Arthur Drive before making a right onto 47th Avenue towards the park.
