The Delta Fishing Heritage Society will be hosting its annual salmon dinner this Saturday at the Ladner Fishermen’s Co-op Hall.
Tickets are $35 each and are available at Angela’s Boutique or by calling 604-946-5211. Dinner includes barbecued salmon, roast beef and roasted potatoes.
Music will be supplied by The Karmichaels who provided a lively selection of tunes last year that made for some spirited activity on the dance floor.
There will also be a cash bar, silent auction and 50/50 draw.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
The Delta Fishing Heritage Society was formed in 2014 to preserve and display the unique history of the fishing industry in Delta and its important connection with the Fraser River estuary.
