Delta fire battles brush fire

Delta fire department was on scene Wednesday afternoon near the Highway 10 overpass as they battled a small brush fire. Delta Police were also on scene providing traffic control and assistance.

Delta fire department responded to a brush fire located about one km south of the Highway 10 overpass around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. The southbound lanes of traffic were impacted by the fire as emergency vehicles were in the area. Delta Police were on scene providing traffic control and assistance.
