Kids filling stockings for other kids

Youngsters from Kidzone Daycare drop off toys Wednesday morning for the Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall’s Stocking For Kids program. All 300 stockings in the mall’s annual program were adopted earlier this month and must be filled and returned by the end of day Monday. Now in its 19th year, Stockings For Kids, which is sponsored by mall merchants, Century Group and the Optimist, collects gifts to be distributed through Deltassist’s Toy Depot. New, unwrapped toys can also be dropped off at Deltassist’s Ladner office at 4891 Delta St. Families wishing to register for Toy Depot assistance can call Deltassist at 604-594-3455 or 604-946-9526.Gord Goble
