As you know in fashion, one day you're in, and the next day you're out.
It’s a quote made popular by the TV reality series Project Runway, but it seems fashion mogul Michael Kors doesn’t have anything to worry about anytime soon.
Kors, who at one time was a judge on Project Runway, will be setting up shop at Tsawwassen Mills, just one of several high profile retailers coming to the destination fashion-oriented mall.
Kors, who unveiled his 2017 spring collection this month, over the past three-plus decades has established himself as one of the most recognizable figures and a leader in the fashion world. The 57-year-old was recently quoted describing his style as both functional and glamourous.
He’s further adding to his high-fashion offerings with the recent unveiling of his new Michael Kors Access smartwatch.
Developed through a partnership with Google and using their Android Wear smartwatch platform, the watch is compatible with both iPhone and Android phones. The display watch includes the Michael Kors Access activity trackers.
“Our customers love fashion and they’re plugged in 24/7. I think they’ll appreciate having social connectivity and health and fitness tracking all within a great-looking accessory,” he said in a news release.
The Michael Kors Outlet store opens with the rest of Tsawwassen Mills in a grand opening celebration Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m.
