The Corporation of Delta was in clean-up mode Wednesday after Tuesday night’s windstorm. According to Trent Reid, manager of engineering operations, 15 calls for damage was received by Delta Tuesday night/Wednesday morning as a result of the windstorm. Twelve of the calls were for downed trees (four were on private property) and three calls in North Delta for power outages to traffic signals. There were also numerous calls advising of tree debris on roadways. Delta crews expected to have all the clean-up complete by the end of Wednesday.
