More than 300 girls from Ladner, Tsawwassen and other neighbouring communities came together at Deas Island Park Sunday, April 26 for Girl Guides of Canada's Camp Skills Day.
The annual outdoor event aims at teaching the girls important skills, including shelter building, campfire skills and outdoor cooking, while having fun and getting ready for the upcoming camping season.
