Santa Claus will be making appearances around South Delta in the lead up to Christmas. Here is a list of the various events Jolly Old Saint Nicholas can be seen at this holiday season:

* Santa will arrive at the Christmas Tree Festival in Ladner Village Nov. 23 minutes before the tree lighting at 7:15 p.m.

* The Ladner Business Association hosts its annual Breakfast with Santa Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Ladner Community Centre. Santa usually arrives at 8:15 a.m. Santa will be available for pictures and there will be entertainment as well.

* Wake Up Santa celebrations will be held at the Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall Saturday, Dec. 2. Guests are asked to arrive by 9:50 a.m. for Santa’s 10 a.m. wake up. There will be pictures along with arts and crafts.

* Santa’s coming to Cammidge House on Sunday, Dec. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. The family occasion is held in a century old house all decked out in festive finery offering the warm ambiance of old time Christmas. The free community event is hosted by Boundary Bay Park Association.

* Santa will be at the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen’s annual Gift of Light event at Diefenbaker Park Sunday, Dec. 3. Santa will arrive in fire truck and pose for photos with kids. There will be horse-drawn trolley rides around park, entertainment, refreshments and the event runs from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

* Christmas Storytime and Santa at the Ladner Pioneer Library, Wednesday, Dec. 6, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Introduce children to the love of books and language with a festive Christmas Storytime! Children and caregivers will enjoy interactive stories, songs, rhymes, and more. Storytime prepares children to learn to read. Suitable for ages 2 to 5. Don't forget to bring your camera as Storytime will be followed by a visit from Santa Claus!* Delta’s A Morning with Santa will be held at the South Delta Recreation Centre, Saturday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event includes breakfast, photos with Santa, crafts, Roaming Rascals/Creative Critters and skating. All those attending must purchase a ticket from a local recreation centre. Tickets are $10.50 per person.
