What are your election issues?

I work in communications and media and as a radio host and through this work I have had the chance to hear directly from the community about what is important to them.

As a parent of two children who attended Delta public schools, I believe providing the opportunity for parents to engage with the school system is critical to students’ success.

I believe that many parents in Delta struggle to access resources and I would like to strengthen the connection between parents and schools to empower them to support their children's learning.

My top priorities include excellence in education, better physical and mental health of students and a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

I strongly believe that equity, diversity and inclusion are key components of successful school systems. In addition to sports and physical activities, it is important to foster creativity in children and support their overall health and well-being. I want to help students understand that they are the future of their communities and instill the importance of a sense of service to their fellow citizens.

To ensure the well-being of students, I will prioritize providing a safe and supportive learning environment. It is important to creative a safe and supportive environment where students have someone to listen to them when they want to talk about their concerns. I want to foster students’ curiosities and passions and facilitate a stronger connection between them and their community.
