505-Junk discounts rates to help Delta with spring cleanup

With so much uncertainty in our world right now, there is one thing we’re certain about—our love for the Delta community.

With so much uncertainty in our world right now, there is one thing we’re certain about—our love for the Delta community. We can’t put into words how grateful we are to be part of such a resilient and positive community that supports one another, even from a distance.

To the residents of Delta and all Optimist readers, we would like to say thank you—for the non-stop love and support that our local business has been receiving over the years, but especially during this difficult time.

Over the past several weeks, our trucks have been very busy helping families regain space at home during the spring-cleaning period. During those visits, we received several questions that we would like to take the time to answer for all of you here:

Are you a local company?

Yes, we certainly are! We started in our parents’ basement in Tsawwassen in 2011.

Is there a minimum or maximum amount of material you can take?

We have waived our 200-pound minimum charge and we do not have a maximum amount.

Do you recycle?

Yes, we always do our best to recycle material whenever possible. This includes wood, metal, electronics, mattresses, and so much more.

How do you weigh material?

Each of our trucks have Measurement Canada certified scales built right into them, allowing us to weigh material right on-site.

What do you take?

We take furniture, electronics, appliances, construction debris, yard debris, and so much more.

Do you load the material?

Yes—we do all the loading and lifting for you.

Every single share or repost of our last article, or word of mouth recommendation to your friends and family has not gone unnoticed. As active members of our community, we value your recommendations above all else when it comes to reaching new customers.

Many of you know members of our Truck Teams personally and, when you take pictures of our team live in action and tag us, it makes us all proud and makes us feel connected with one another and all of you.

We have had many requests to extend the duration of the Delta Spring Clean Up as people are expected to continue staying at home. For those of you who missed our pick up schedule throughout April, good news—we are extending our promotion based on your feedback.

For our Delta clients, the $79 pick up fee has been waived until May 31st. Our removal rate is simply $0.29 per pound with no minimum charge. Just point to what you want gone, and our team will take care of the rest.

As a reminder, we are all united in our efforts to keep COVID-19 at bay. Here are a few of the policies that we have put in place to keep our team and community safe:

  • Sanitization:The interiors of our trucks are cleaned after servicing every client.
  • Hand washing: Cleaning stations are provided in every truck and employees are washing hands before and after every pick up.
  • Physical distancing:We are sending one team member per truck with two trucks sent to every site. All material must be located outside (front yard, back yard, or in a garage).
  • Touch point: Credit card payments are done securely over the phone with our head office.

A full list of our current COVID-19 policies can be found on our website.

From our family to yours,
