It is never too late to toot your own horn.
Adults who aspire to be concert musicians are being invited to avail themselves of an opportunity this fall in the Delta school district.
On Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 5, from 7: 30 to 9: 30 p.m., in the Delta Secondary band room in Ladner, anyone over the age of 19 who would like to learn to perform on a woodwind, brass or percussion concert band instrument is invited to take a course that will teach participants how to read music and play an instrument.
No prior music experience is required. In fact, the course is geared towards those with absolutely no music background. Near beginners are also more than welcome.
