A taxi driver was found unwell, in the middle of the road, near Vancouver Airport on Sunday.
According to Richmond RCMP, officers were on routine patrol along Grant McConachie Way when they found the taxi “in a precarious spot” on June 11 around 12:10 a.m.
“Our officers stopped to check and discovered the driver was in severe medical distress,” said Cpl. Adriana O’Malley, spokesperson for the Richmond RCMP.
Two officers performed first aid “in tandem” before paramedics arrived to take the patient to a local hospital.
